Acer 8930g sound issue in windows 7

Postby felix » Tue Nov 24, 2009 2:05 pm

I have recently installed windows 7 on my PC. And I have built-in 5.1 speaker but after installing the drivers it worked fine for a few minutes, and after that 2 front speakers stopped working. How to solve this issue?

Download the Win 7 audio drivers for the 8935G from Acers website, they will work fine and restore your 5.1 sound.
Here's the link:

Right-click the volume icon in the notification area-> Playback devices-> speakers-> properties->“Levels”-> Turn all of the levels down (except HD audio output and internal subwoofer)
If you hear any sound then it means subwoofer is working
