Steps to install AVG 9.0 over AVG 8.x or AVG 8.x Free

To install AVG 9.0 over the installed AVG 8.x or AVG 8.x Free perform the following steps

1. Download the latest AVG 9.0 installation file such as

* AVG Internet Security 9.0
* AVG Anti-Virus 9.0
* AVG Anti-Virus plus Firewall 9.0
2. Click on Download AVG now button.
3 Click the Save button and choose a location for installation file
4. Reboot your computer.
5. Close all running applications locate the downloaded AVG installation file (it has a four color square icon and its name starts with AVG_...) and launch it.
6. Follow the instructions in the wizard to install the new AVG 9.0 (Earlier versions of AVG will be automatically removed during the installation process).
7. Enter your license number when you are asked
8. Finish the installation wizard and restart your computer.
