Clean your registry to fix windows 7 freezes issue

Clean your registry to fix windows 7 freezes issue

I had the same problem and fixed this issue by cleaning registry. When the Windows registry is filled with errors then the communication process breaks down. The only way to fix this is to clean the registry of corrupt files and different errors. Just scan your PC with a good registry repair tool.

Thats not entirely true.... reason being windows 7 is not like vista or xp, windows 7 has been specifically designed to ignore old registry's therefore there is really no need to use "good registry cleaners" to fix/clean old registry left overs this will not slow windows 7 down like its predecessors thats what malware does.

To fix corrupted files that give you errors then the windows 7 ststem has a great built in tool just for this and that is the "system file checker" unlike xp you do not need the installation DVD/CD to perform this task just run from elevated command prompt by typing sfc /scannow and hit enter, when the scan is complete just type "exit" press enter then reboot your system, this can also be done in safemode with command prompt too.

As i mention before about registries.... if however you are kind of ocd and like a clean system  you can use the registry cleaner but not just any.. but Ccleaner as this registry cleaner is proven to be an excellent little program which is desgned to work perfectly with windows 7, unlike most other registry cleaners which personally i think are snak oil, they cause more damage than good.

When and if you decide to use Ccleaner, only use the registry side of it "occasionally" and always backup your registry when prompted by Ccleaner.

The secret to keeping a clean machine is not to install crapware and installing and uninstalling programs willy nilly.

I could go on and on about "why and how" to do with this LOL
