Repair browser to fix Flash player issue on windows 7

Postby owen » Tue Sep 15, 2009 3:00 am

I had the same issue and fixed it after repairing browser. If you upgrade or do changes in your browser, then you may require a browser repair and reinstallation of Flash Player to fix the problem

Steps to repair the browser:

Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove programs->choose the browser->Change/Remove->Repair-> Restart after repairing the browser
If your browser does not have a Repair option such as Netscape, you have to reinstall the browser in order to repair it.

Check Internet Explorer security level and make sure "Download Signed ActiveX controls" and "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" are not disabled.

Update your video drivers if you experience a crash or freeze when installing or using Flash Player.
Right-click on your Desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Adapter to view the manufacturer's name. Download latest drivers form the manufacturer's website
