Windows 7 buyers will be able to downgrade to either Windows Vista or Windows XP. If you buy a computer between June 2009 and January 2010 but you do not like Vista and downgrade to XP, then you will have the option to upgrade XP windows 7 for free, after its release.
Warning: If you buy a PC that has Windows XP pre-installed, then you will not get free upgrade to Windows 7. The reason is that those PC’s not come with a Windows Vista COA (Certificate of Authenticity)
