Just now I installed Windows 7 (64bit) and found that the following games does not work properly under windows 7.
Call of Duty 4
Fallout 3
Battlefield 2142
Team Fortress 2

Fallout 3 and Call of duty 4 works fine on windows 7. You need to update your punkbuster with the PBSETUP application that you can download from evenbalance.com

After formatting with Windows 7 build 7000. I installed Call of Duty 4. But when I clicked on the MP icon I just got a black screen and in the task Manager it gave the error message "Call of Duty 4: not responding".

Have you added Call of Duty 4 into the fireball as allowed? It may just be waiting on the network, but being blocked by the firewall.

It seems that PunkBuster does not get along very well. I have tried many “solutions” you see online and none of them work.
The error that most of us receive is “Windows API Error ######”
It is something to do with punkbuster and Windows 7. PunkBuster has already stated that they will fix the problem after windows 7 is released to the public.
