Here are the steps to Add "Empty Recycle Bin" to the Desktop Context Menu
1. Click Start->Run->Type regedit->Ok
2. Locate the following key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTDirectoryBackgroundshellexContextMenuHandlers
3. Right-click it, and create a new sub-hive and name it “Recycle Bin”.
4. Open that sub-hive, and edit the Default entry on the right-hand side of the window.
5. Enter the value “{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}”, and click “OK”.
6. Close the Registry Editor.

It is a very good idea to setup clean desktop. Now there is no need to put recycle bin icon on the desktop.
