I have just now installed windows 7 but I want to get rid of watermark. Is there any manual way to remove it?

Steps to remove watermark in windows 7
1. Download the patch from here

Remove7Watermark.exe –(for Windows 7 Build 7000)

Remove7Watermark.exe – (f or Windows 7 Build 6956)

2. Rt-click on Removewatermark.exe file -> Run as administrator. (Choose RemovewatermarkX86.exe file for 32-bit Windows else RemovewatermarkX64.exe for 64-bit Windows.)

3.Restart your computer.

I have tried the above steps but watermark is still there

If the watermark still there even after restarting the system, then do the following steps
(1)Start->run->type cmd->Press enter-> Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open Command Prompt with admin rights
or
Start -> All programs -> Accessories-> Right-click on Command Prompt -> Run as administrator.

(2) In the command prompt type mcbuilder.exe and hit enter

(3) Close the command prompt and restart windows 7

Now you will see no watermarks on your desktop.

It is always good to backup your system files since you are going edit user32.dll.mui system file using a small patch.
