First and foremost save s Outlook Express contacts in the windows 7 folder.
Open>Thunderbird 3>Password
Click>Write. Opens Write (no subject).
Click ->Windows7 Contacts folder, which has Outlook Express contacts
Drag contacts into the header of the Write (no subject) this will open an attachment side column, drop contacts into this side column.
Double click contacts to open a NEW CONTACT dialogue-> OK and Bingo
!! Outlook Express contacts through Windows 7 contacts are now in your Thunderbird 3 address book.

(1)Open Windows Contacts>click Start>click> All Programs click>Windows Contacts.
Don’t click on any files here.
(2)On the toolbar, click Export->click on the format vCard (folder of .vcf files)->export Click ->Choose user or your name folder->Contacts folder or new folder-> OK
After that you get a message that the contacts export process has finished_> click OK->close
(3)In your contacts folder, or new folder you will see the Windows 7 contacts have been converted into VCard file (.vcf).
(4)To add contact to the Thunderbird 3 Address Book, right-click the contact and then the contact will get attached to a Write (no subject).
Double click the contact to open a NEW CONTACT dialogue->click OK. Now contact will be in Thunderbird 3 Address Book.
