How to install HP printer software?

I have just now bought a new PC with the trial version of windows 7 installed but I cannot install my HP printer software.

Steps to install HP printer software on windows 7

Here's how:
(1) Insert the setup disk in your CD/DVD drive.
(2) Right-click the setup file and select "Properties--> "Compatibility"->Run this program in compatibility mode for:" ->choose "Windows Vista" from the pop-up menu.
(3) Also check "Run this program as administrator"->Apply->OK."
(4) Now you can double-click the "Setup" file and run the software installer.
