Enable Bitlocker to Secure windows 7

One way to secure windows 7 is to Enable BitLocker
With BitLocker, you can encrypt the boot system and any removable media on your computer and thus allow the entire volume of your computer to be secured.. It acts as barrier against data theft. Always save your encrypted info and passwords. Loss of these things can result in you losing your important information.

Make sure that all softwares are patched

Install software or enable processes to make sure that all softwares are patched including browser plug-ins. Hackers are moving to less frequently patched third-party softwares to silently harm the end-user.

Backup Your Data

Postby kieran » Tue Dec 22, 2009 3:15 pm

Windows 7 allows you a simple way to use backup option. The simple and easy to use backup allows the end user to backup their data at the time of system crash.
Start-> Control Panel > System and Security > Backup and Restore. Or simply search on the keyword "backup" in Help and Support to learn everything you need to know about Windows backups. It is good to have a multiyear computer warranty, but to reduce the damage when your system crashes, please ensure to back up your irreplaceable data.
