Icons Disappeared in Windows 7

Icons Disappeared in Windows 7

I have installed win7 today and when booting up all of my desktop icons are disappeared. Everything is still in the c:/users/%user%desktop folder, but nothing appears on the actual desktop.

The Folder Icon customization will not work until UAC is set to the minimum annoyance level.
This is what I have found so far, I think this is a problem in viewing the desktop also ?

Try this:
Right click desktop>view>show desktop icons
Right click desktop>view>show desktop icons

The Windows Key+P worked for me I couldn't right-click on the desktop anywhere -- trust me, that was the First thing I did.
