I have installed Roxio Ultimate Creator 2009 on windows 7 but it won’t run. I think Roxio Ultimate Creator 2009 does not work in windows 7.

For those having problem with Roxio Ultimate Creator 2009, install the Service Pack 4 Update from the roxio website:
http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/c2009/software_updates.html

Windows 7 users, you will not be able to start Roxio Creator without installing the above update.

Make sure you close AIM and WMP during the Roxio Creator update installation because it interferes with update installation.

Roxio recently released Creator 2010 is compatible with Windows 7.

Try this

Start->My computer->
Navigate here:
C:\WINDOWS\system32
Rename dsetup.dll to dsetupOLD.dll or delete the file
Reinstall Creator 2009 and instructions.

The first time I installed Creator 2009 in Win 7 beta, I had issues. Then I logged into the Roxio website and installed the patch or update called service pack 3 for Roxio Creator 2009. I downloaded and installed it using Vista compatibility and everything worked and is still working. I hope this works for you.
