However, the "bootmgr is missing" error can be avoided by not using the default Ghost 14 restore settings. After locating the image you want to restore, you should click the Change button and only check these two options
(1) Verify recovery point
(2) Set drive active (for booting OS)
After restoring, Windows 7 should boot OK.
