I just want to know whether Ghost 14 is compatible with windows 7 or not.

Ghost 14 is not designed for Win7 it has compatibility issues.

I have Windows 7 installed on my system and using Ghost 14 to restore images. While using Ghost 14 restore settings, I got the following error on re-start
"Bootmgr is missing".

Inserting the Windows 7 System Repair Disk and using ctrl+alt+del to re-boot and load the Repair Disk can solve this.

However, the "bootmgr is missing" error can be avoided by not using the default Ghost 14 restore settings. After locating the image you want to restore, you should click the Change button and only check these two options
(1) Verify recovery point
(2) Set drive active (for booting OS)
After restoring, Windows 7 should boot OK.

Ghost 14 will not work properly on Windows 7 because it was developed for XP and Vista. So it is better to wait for the new version that supports windows 7.
