I have problems installing laserjet 2600n on windows 7.

I also had issue installing laserjet 2600n and fixed after trying the following steps
(1)Download the vista 64 bit driver for the 2600n.
(2)Run the program in compatibility mode for windows xp sp2 (this is for extracting the files) to
get the files extracted.
(3)Try the normal steps for adding a printer through control panel
(4)Once installed add a port and select tcpip port and the ip address of your printer.
