Local host slow on windows 7

I have upgraded from Xp to Windows 7 Professional. But I have noticed whenever I run my website in local host it runs very slow.

Disable DNS Client under Services.

You should Disable DNS Client under Services.
Navigate to DNS Client-> Right click on it,->Click Properties-> disable, then stop the services click apply and then OK.
Right click on it, Properties, disable, then stop the services, click apply and then OK.
