I would like to share one new feature of Windows 7, called “Problem Steps Recorder”.
The recent version of the Windows-based operating system i.e. Windows 7 is definitely better than superior XP and Vista. But the simple reality of the matter is that at times you will run into an issue and you will not be able to fix it yourself. You can for example invite a friend or could call technical support – but now this is no longer necessary with Windows 7. Thanks to Problem Steps Recorder in Windows 7 you can simply take screenshots and comment on your issue; this way technical support can identify your issue and help you fix it. Just think your friend can help you out without visiting your place - just show the issue through Problem Steps Recorder and he may fix it out.

How to use Problem Steps Recorder in Windows 7?

Here is what you have to do to use Problem Steps Recorder in Windows 7:

Step 1. Start ->Search-> type in psr.exe -> press Enter

Step 2. Problem Steps recorder will launch-> click on start record ->follow the steps and recreate your issue.

Step 3. When you are finished, press Stop Record -> select the destination where you want like to save the output file -> save the output file (it is saved as a zipped HTML web archive)

Step 4. Email the output file to tech support or share the file on the network.

Really interesting to see this feature, I have not tried it yet. It is nice to see Microsoft is going in the right direction in order to help users who cannot properly describe a problem they are experiencing.
