I am not able to install MS .Net Framework 3.5 on windows 7. Whenever I try to run installer nothing happens. The machine gives a UAC prompt. When clicking on Yes, nothing happens.
How to fix this issue?

You have to Turn Windows features on or off in the Control Panel to fix Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 issue.
Here are the steps
Click on start->Control Panel->Programs->Check the option “Turn Windows features on or off”

It may be that it is not compatible with windows 7. So try to install it in XP or Vista compatibility mode?
