I have installed windows 7 but zune software does not recognize zune. Zune does not show up in the software. How to solve this issue?

I also had this problem but fixed it after Running in XP compatibility mode.

Run the Zune software as an administrator and then connect zune. Right click the zune software shortcut-->select “run as administrator". You should run as administrator once for the Zune to be recognized.

Try to uninstall the zune software, and then reinstall it from the following link:
