I have to install some development tools, and it seems that Daemon Tools are not compatible with Windows 7.
Can anyone please let me know any other tools compatible with windows 7?

I just realized that because of SPTD drivers, daemon tools will not be installed properly in Windows 7or Windows 7 could never detect it was installed.
There may be another tool that works fine on windows 7, such as Gizmo Drive. It can also make and mount images for more popular formats something similar to daemon tools

Try to install SPTD separately, and run it as administrator; Then you can get your Daemon tools installed on windows 7.
