Warcraft 3 Problem in Windows 7 ?

Warcraft 3 Problem in Windows 7 ?

I have recently installed windows7 on my PC but I can't get Warcraft 3 working under windows 7.
I am also using the latest DirectX software but it says i don’t have DirectX installed. Please help.

Duncan: Some games require you to install DirectX 9 alongside DirectX 10.
You can download DirectX 9 from here:

Try the Compatibility Mode.
Right click on the shortcut ->"Properties", ->"Compatibility"->XP-Service Pack 2

Are you using any expansion packs?

If you are getting a DirectX error, you have to install some video card drivers.

You can download the latest patch from Blizzard website. I also had an issue I run the game under Vista because my game disk was old, and could not update the game. So I downloaded the latest patch from Blizzard website and it worked fine
