Will I be getting any discount if I upgrade to windows 7?

Currently I am running windows 7 Vista ultimate on my PC. Will I be getting any discount if I upgrade to windows 7.

There is no equivalent discount for users having Vista Ultimate and looking to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. For Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade you will have to pay $299.99 and for Professional Upgrade $199.99.

Unfortunately Vista Home Basic users are left out because Microsoft does not offer a direct upgrade path to Windows 7. But there is an option to try. If you upgrade Vista Home Basic to Home Premium for US$197.30, then you will be eligible to get a free copy of the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade CD.
