I have installed windows 7 and it freezes after startup. I have tried starting up in safe mode but again the same issue. What can be the reason for this problem?

Check windows 7 hardware specifications

Postby leroy » Sat Aug 29, 2009 2:54 pm

Check your hardware specifications. It may be due to running your system beyond its hardware specifications. This occurs when having too many programs open at once. If you do not have sufficient RAM in your system, then the computer will freeze. So open fewer programs or buy additional RAM.

Update Windows 7 drivers

Postby lambert » Mon Aug 31, 2009 3:11 am

I also had the same issue and rectified after updating drivers. You have to update your drivers because compatibility issues can make your system to freeze up. Check the Microsoft Windows website for the latest updates.

Clean Windows 7 registry

Postby mike25 » Mon Aug 31, 2009 3:44 am

I think you have to clean your registry. When the Windows registry is filled with errors, then this results in the break down of communication. Just scan your computer with any registry repair program. After scanning your computer, I assure you will be surprised by all the errors on your system.
