Windows 7 not able to read any CD/DVDs. I have tried many methods like uninstalling driver, reboot then let it auto reinstall again but nothing works.

Are you able to see the drive when you go to Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Computer Management -->Disk Management

You may try this:
(1)Click Start -->Run-->Regedit
(2)Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

In the right pane, click UpperFilters->edit ->delete

In the right pane, click LowerFilters->edit->delete

(3) Exit Registry Editor.
(4)Restart the computer
Hope this will work

Go to BIOS setup at reboot and check if the device name is listed under IDE devices
