Unfortunately, Iolo Technlogies, which sells PC tune-up software for Windows systems, has revealed that Windows 7 takes larger booting time than Vista in most cases.
What do you think?

Different experiences of boot time due to different hardware

Postby clement » Tue Oct 20, 2009 5:19 pm

I have windows XP, Vista and Win7 Ultimate installed in my office and I must say that Windows7 machine has a noticeably faster boot time than others. The reality is that different people have different experiences of boot time due to different hardware and software configurations.

I have tested Win 7 on brand new desktop PCs, laptops, netbooks and even older desktops and laptops. And from my experience I can say it never boots slower than Vista on the same system. It is usually much faster.
