I am using Windows 7 Home Premium and recently installed Windows Live Mail but
it is not working. When I click on Windows Live Mail I get the message "Please wait while Windows configures Windows Live Mail", and then it disappears after a few seconds. I even tried to modify the permission from registry but no success. I am getting the following errors when accessing the registry key
"WL.Mail.Url.Mailto cannot be opened
An error is preventing this key from being opened
Details access is denied"
and the error while saving the new permission
"Unable to save permission on WL.Mail.Url.Mailto"

It's possible that your Windows Live Mail is corrupted or not properly installed. I recommend you to perform clean removal, which requires removing certain entries from your registry.
