Windows live messenger error 81000306 in windows 7

Windows live messenger error 81000306 in windows 7

Today I installed windows 7 on my computer everything is working fine except windows live messenger. I got this error: 81000306" while connecting to live messenger.

Disable the auto-tuning feature to fix live messenger error

To fix this issue you have to disable the auto-tuning feature.
(1)Click Start--> All Programs--> Accessories-->Right-click the entry Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator
(2)Now type the following line in the command prompt, and press Enter:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
Now retry to sign in to Messenger.
If you get the same error, re-enable the auto-tuning feature by repeating the above steps with the following line instead:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
